More Travel, No Compromise

The Spur now features 130mm of front travel, optimized around the latest Fox 34 Float SL, a fork that delivers increased capability without adding weight. This upgrade reflects the evolving demands of modern XC, where courses are becoming more technical and terrain more aggressive. We anticipate this longer travel configuration becoming the new standard in the category. For everyday riders, the added front-end support expands the Spur's trail versatility, offering greater confidence and control on descents without compromising efficiency on the climbs.

The Magic Of The Spur

When developing the original Spur, Transition chose a flex stay design to achieve the feel we were after. The rear end delivered a lively, responsive feel, with just the right amount of flex to enhance traction and control. The highly progressive leverage curve provides an exceptionally supple initial stroke and a surprisingly deep, controlled feel throughout the travel. This performance stood out from most bikes in the 120mm category. For the new Spur, we've refined the design, but stayed true to what made the original so special, ensuring that the same responsive, bottomless feel remains at the heart of the bike while adding some stiffness to increase speed and snappiness.
